The new program includes 30 full-time Sheriff's deputies assigned to five specific beats, or zones, in The Woodlands; 23 of these are deputies working as patrol officers, four are corporals, two are sergeants, with one detective and one clerk. The program also includes all necessary equipment and vehicles for personnel, with the 30 squad cars marked "The Woodlands" to identify them, plus a number of bicycle patrols.
